Understanding What Will Happen To Your Federal Grant

A CONVERSATION WITH LEADING ENERGY POLICY AND LEGAL EXPERTS

SYDNEY BOPP (BOUNDARY STONE) AND CHRISTINE BROZYNSKI (NORTON ROSE)

Monday, February 3rd

8:00am - 9:00am PT

If you are building a company and have been awarded a government grant, the past two weeks have likely been confusing.

The past two weeks included a January 20th executive order pausing the disbursement of funds allocated through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA); a January 27th memo from the Office of Management and Budget directing all agencies to halt federal assistance disbursements; a January 28th federal court ruling to temporarily block the freeze; and the subsequent rescinding of the Office of Management and Budget memo.

Overture is convening leading policy and legal experts to help you sort through the noise and understand the fate of your federal grant funding. Join Boundary Stone Managing Partner Sydney Bopp, Overture and Boundary Stone Co-Founder Brandon Hurlbut, and Norton Rose Fulbright Partner Christine Brozynski.

Sydney Bopp spent nearly a decade at the Department of Energy including during the last Trump Administration.
